About This Place

Mariscos El Perihuete is a standout seafood restaurant nestled in the heart of Lynwood, CA, offering a rich taste of coastal Mexico’s freshest flavors. Renowned for its authentic Sinaloan-style mariscos, this vibrant eatery brings a lively, welcoming atmosphere where every dish tells a story of tradition and passion.

The menu dazzles with an array of irresistible seafood delights. Begin your culinary journey with their signature Aguachile Caliente, a fiery, citrus-infused shrimp ceviche that bursts with invigorating flavors. For a taste of the ocean’s bounty in a refreshing, tangy style, the Shrimp Cocktail and Campechana—a delightful combination of shrimp, octopus, and shellfish—offer a perfect balance of sweetness and zest. If you’re craving something uniquely indulgent, the Molcajete de Marisco, a generous platter featuring cooked shrimp, octopus, scallops, and drowned shrimp, served in a rustic Mexican stone mortar, promises to impress both the eyes and palate.

Seafood tacos at Mariscos El Perihuete deserve special mention. Each taco, such as the Taco de Mariscos filled with shrimp and pulpo or the savory Taco de Gobernador featuring shredded shrimp, is crafted with fresh ingredients and hand-pressed tortillas, delivering a perfect harmony of textures and bold, satisfying flavors. The Taco A La Uyu Yui, dressed in spicy cream, onions, and cheese, offers a lush, creamy counterpoint to the bright seafood notes—truly a sensory delight.

Patrons consistently praise the warm, attentive service, creating a dining experience that feels both personal and genuine. Whether you’re seated nearby or enjoying your meal on-the-go, the freshness and generosity of each portion leave a lasting impression. As one guest, Anderson Barrios, said, “Their aguachile is spicy, citrusy, and always super fresh… Definitely a hidden gem for mariscos lovers.” Another diner, Marco Marin, captures the spirit of the place perfectly: “They received you with ‘Leche de Tigre’—a traditional delicacy from Sinaloa—and the flavors are fully enjoyable.”

For those seeking a fulfilling meal balanced by the warmth of friendly faces and authentic Mexican seafood fare, Mariscos El Perihuete offers an unforgettable culinary escape. Dive into their expertly crafted dishes and allow the vibrant, coastal flavors to transport you to the shores of Sinaloa, right in the comfort of Lynwood.

I found this seafood truck through a friend and now I’m hooked. Their aguachile is spicy, citrusy, and always super fresh. The staff are quick and the portions are generous for the price. There’s some seating nearby, but I usually just eat in my car. Definitely a hidden gem for mariscos lovers
